Found this N-FET (and a bridge rectifier) blasted in old Panasonic TV but I am unable to find datasheet or at least good enough info to guess what transistor can I stick in. It is in boost active PFC switching FET.
This website http://www.cybor-tech.com.pl/i89988-...-renesas-.html says it is 500V 40A, that's some crazy shit Isn't it more like 10A, 40 peak? Here http://www.mixelec.fr/article-86439-...n-rjk5010.html they say it's 20A, that's more plausible…

Closest which may suit I have is 2SK2698…who knows how the PFC works here but the total power draw of this thing is 235 W and it has completely separated stand-by PSU (with independent rectifier, cap etc.) so I don't think there will ever be more than 15 A at 325 V in there?

I think it will be quite better on the stand, I had it standing on shorter side, perpendicularly to internal heatsinks. Normally the air can flow through, like it did in customers living room, there were tons of dust, I've also cleaned that all.
