I got a dead HD6950 on Ebay to try my luck and repair it. There were a few broken off capacitors that I already replaced.
Measuring the PCI-E lanes I got somewhat weird measurements, the gpu might or might not be dead.
If I plug the GPU in, the core heats up and I also get VCore but on two inductors that measure 16 and 60 Ohms respectively (Memory and PEX I guess) there is no voltage.
On one of the two buck-controllers (APW7165) the enable pin is pulled to GND and the other controller I just cannot find a datasheet for.
So if anyone has a datasheet or at least a pin layout for an AM113 IC (pretty sure it is a buck controller as well) that would be great.
The mosfets should be fine, at least I have not found any voltage rail short.
