copper pad in board peel off

Hi I'm newbie when it comes to electronics repair. My copper pad where my diode sticks has peeled off what is the most efficient way to make the copper pad stick to the board? epoxy? ink mask? I want to hear your suggestions

Scrape a bit on the trace and expose the copper. Solder wire to it and go to your broken pad. After all is soldered together put some UV curing paint or whatever else you got on there and be done with it. There are endless YouTube videos on how to fix ripped off solder pads, Google “Northridgefix” for example.
Your problem was you used too much heat and that ripped the pad off. This is usually due to a low wattage soldering iron, old or corroded solder, too much heat on the soldering iron due to not adjusting the temperature correctly, etc.

As a suggestion on the wire to use -> locate an old IDE (PC) style hard drive cable. Hit up a friendly computer repair place and they should give these to you for free or dirt cheap. Such cables (and floppy drive ones) are made from crimped flat ribbon cables. Dissect the cable and take out a single strand of this wire. It is very flexible and should be fine to support the diode wiring you are facing. There will be multiple strands of this naked wire inside each conductor of the cabling you can find at the computer store. Keep in mind that there is no insulation on this wire so be careful as to where this wire starts and ends - do not allow it to touch anything else.

As another suggestion, use tweezers to solder in place AND then flex the extra piece of the wire till it breaks (back and forth). Do not rip off the ends with force because this can cause further damage to the solder pads. Test the process with any donor board.

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

              Assuming...

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.

              Problem

This is an LG edge LED lit LCD Display. The LEDs are on the bottom edge of the display. There are 2 bars (left and right) Each bar has many LEDs and a 6 pin connector. Each pin drive several LEDs thus is the highest current flow / heat junction. The weak lead free solder gradually fails with thermal expansion/contraction cycling and increases resistance. PSU will compensate up to a point, then when the current is too high, PSU just shut down the backlight causing a dark display. I have even seen one which the connector just fell off as solder points became completely detached....

LG OLED77G1PUA - No Video / Audio after a TCON Board change and Software Update
              by Hakuu
              Hi There,

This TV was auto switching off after few seconds with some vertical lines on the screen, so got a new TCON board and replaced it.

After replacing the TCON board it was working fine and i set it up with everything, used for few hours, then had the bright idea to update the software on it. During the update process, TV switched off and now no audio or video. No relay switch sound.

              More Details
