Help Identifying this chip - 324

See the attached drawing of the chip I am trying to identify. I think the last character (the 'H') may actually be the manufacturer logo, but I am not sure.

This chip is part of a hand held device that detects metal. Its called a pinpointer, and is used in the metal detecting community. The chip is located on the main power rail which is from a 9 volt battery, noted in the drawing.

I tried many searches to find the part, but did not see anything that looked close. But then I have very little experience doing this and I could have easily missed something obvious.

Also..... Is the 'H' with the line above it and below it actually a logo? If so, what manufacturer uses it?

If you suspect that this chip is bad, you may be able to bypass the switch by connecting Vin to Vout. This would enable you to verify the rest of the circuit.

There is dedicated forums for metal detecting like geotech1 forum, with worldwide members with lots of information and knowledge.

When searching, first type the package name folowed with first part of marking code, in your case try: sot23-6 marking 324
Then go to image tab and look to see some pictures with 6 leg stuff with marking 324.
Last character is date manufactured or so... ignore that.

ASRock B650M PRO RS - BIOS CHIP 25Q256JW BLOCKED BY STATUS REGISTERS
                  by DynaxSC
                  Hi

I have a very strange issue with the BIOS SPI chip of an ASRock B650M PRO RS motherboard.
The SPI chip is an Winbond 25Q256JWEQ model (1V8).
The motherbaord doas not POST - it lits only CPU and DRAM EZ Debug Leds, and stays that way forever.
The Flashback function of the motherbaord is also not working, despite all instructions followed correctly - I'm 100% sure of this.

I have then desoldered the chip, backupped the contents, and tried to earease the chip in order to program stock image, but the chip is locked by status registers SREG2 (TB) and SREG6...

Requesting help identifying chip in Macbook Pro A2485
                  by Loki_Fido
                  Hi ya folks,

I have this MacBook Pro A2485 (M1 Pro 2021) which came in for repair.

It had a shorted SSD power supply chip. Therefore it was stuck at 5V.
I replaced it and the SSD are fine. No more shorts.

But The mac still pulls 5V and 200mA. If i leave it alone for 5 mins, the mac manages to receive 20V and 40mA. Of course, which doesnt mean the mac starts after power meter reading 20V.

But while the mac is stuck at 5V, i checked the board with thermal and found this chip was trying to start. Chip picture is attached.

This chip is shorted thru. Based on what I see, it's either a 3.3V or 5V buck converter, just my guess. The markings on the chip state "S2=AB".

A photo of the chip is attached.

                  Thank you....

Need help identifying an IC chip on a Bush DAB radio (BD-1801)
                  by tyler123456
                  Hi,

Not sure whether anyone can help but I'm trying to identify the IC chip in the photo below.

I purchased a faulty Bush DAB radio (model # BD-1801) and identified that an IC chip was blown on it. Unfortunately, I couldn't read the manufacturer name / model number of the IC chip.

I purchased another (working) BD-1801 so that I could open it up to find out the IC details - but the IC chip details are missing (as you can see in the photo.)

Given the two huge blobs of solder either side of it I'm guessing it regulates power(?)

                  Anyone...
