    Building an LVDS cable

    Hey all.

As in a few other question threads I'm wanting to try build an All-in-one PC using a laptop motherboard and an Acer X223HQ.

Problem is, the Acer X223HQ, while a decent bit of kit, only has a crappy VGA input.

Anyone know of a laptop screen 40-pin to full-size 40-pin adapter, or if it's possible to build a cable to connect directly to the LCD's connection?

That would eliminate the need for a control board and give me a lot more space to work with.

This is the panel in the Acer: https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...f487676a01.pdf

    Anyone reckon this is possible?

    EDIT: Just realised it's a 30-pin panel :/ bugger
