I was wondering if I could replace transformer 1400271 C09TM13 C (faulty one secondary 1,1kOhm other 96kOhm) with TMS92903CT (both secondaries at 1,68kOhm) and if not why? Thx in advance.

Re: Inverter tranaformer question
The only way to tell if the substitute transformer will work or not, you will need the spec of the old transformer and the new transformer. Do you know what the the output voltage of both transformers are if the primary is applied with the same input voltage, Do you know the impedance of both transformers? Do you know how much current output of both transformers are? The pinouts are the same? Many data you need before doing substitute or you can damage the drive circuits or the lamps will not light up properly.Never stop learning

Re: Inverter tranaformer question
The CCFL inverter transformers are custom made for Samsung, so specs would be very hard to find. You have to match the tube size, length (secondary voltage and current) with the inverter drive (primary voltage, bridge/Royer), and pinout too. Google "ccfl 1400271" and you can find them on eBay or from Chinese vendors.
Here are sample specs on CCFL transformers, as you can see there are many parameters to match.Comment

Re: Inverter tranaformer question
Ok I need same raplecement for the transformer 1400271 C09TM25A
This are parameters from the PCB board PWI2304SL
Usec=800V AC @ 7.5mA
I found a replacement signatures TMS92920CT but
no datasheets to check the Secundary ResistanceComment

by caseyjay_48I am currently on a troubleshoot of 46” Sony KDL-46BX450 tv. I came back from Washington to Texas on medical emergency and had to leave all my tools up there. All I have is a couple of screwdrivers and a dvm. I wish to ask the community a troubleshooting question. Please forgive stupid questions as meds I am taking produce brain fog.
I have well maintained Sony KDL-46BX450. It went black one day. After turn-on, I get solid green light and Sony logo in screen center for about 1-2 seconds, then black. No blinking LEDs, no hissing. Flashlight test shows screen characters dimly viewable,... -
by learnmoreHello Community,
I'm attempting to repair the SMPS on a Levoit 600S air purifier. The transformer is likely open. It has six pins. 2 pairs on the primary side (one pair tested open) and 1pair of legs on the secondary side. Legs on the secondary side are spread wide apart (end-to-end). I've circled them in blue. Dimentons of the transformer are 22x23mm. Marking on the transformer are EE16 1.9mH-B. Fuse for the powerboard is fuse 250V 3.15A. I've been unable to find an exact match and I'm hoping for some help here to find a suitable replacment.
Peace

by amelbyeHi, some prestory: I was repairing an amplifier - a "Phil Jones Bass". It had some bad capacitors an a faulty power switch. Easy job. However upon putting it back together I screwed up. The connector from the 15V-0V-15V from the transformer is identical to the audio ouput from the preamp board to the poweramp board. I ended up putting +-15VAC into the preamp outputs frying some traces on the circuit board along with the power transformer
The transformer is shorted. It blows the fuse immediately even with no load on the secondary.
Now that's a challenge - luckily... -
by ohrenHello!
I'm looking at an original Xbox PSU: Foxlink ftps-0002 rev. B. The 12 V output is too low, and the 5 V output is too (?) high. Unfortunately I don't have an oscilloscope but only a DMM for diagnosis.
Measured voltages with no load:
After rectifier diodes
12V: 6.17 V
5V: 5.67 V
Secondary transformer pins AC measurement (really don't know if this says anything)
12V: 2-2.5 V
5V: 1.04 V
I also have another (working) Xbox psu from Delta. The same measures there, in order, being: 10.79,... -
by mikey5791Hi all,
Got this local made DC power supply (12/14V) given free as the transformer has melted. There is no marking or indication to identify what type or rating of transformer used.
Fyi,. I had a busted autogate mainboard with transformer with marking 13-0-13 . Is this the 13v dc type transformer?
My questions are
1. How do i test to see if the transformer is in good working condition?
2. Can this transformer (marking 13-0-13) be used to replace the melted transformer on the DC power supply?
Hope you guys understand what i was asking. My intention is... - Loading...
