How Long

Hi All,
I just installed two 1500uf 16v Pansonic Caps to my four year old GIGABYTE board....this was my first ever recap....I think the first went OK
( solderwise ) i.e. the solder looks well applied and that 1st cap is solid with no give, the second solder application is fair but that cap has a little give.

Upon first boot the POST went well and current all around sys performance is noteably better than has been for a long time.

How long before I can be confident that the two caps are functioning correctly?

i usually run some memtest86+ for a few passes and check there are no memory errors. others run stress testing utilities for hours or days, some even stress the motherboard further reducing airflow while stress testing.

then once it passes its good

doesnt sound good if the cap has a little give.
