I tried bios from this post but computer doesn't start with these. Attached original which starts on with backlight and fans. Please help.

There is 16GB onboard memory which looks intact and was covered with a metal cover. I am wondering if a chip driving the memory is OK as per the cpas lock indication.Leave a comment:

Hello guys,
As per title says I have a Envy 15-FH0501sa , Ryzen 5, 16 Gb version.
Motherboard number is JPB51 LA-M798P rev.1.0
SN CND3362R3S
The laptop is getting power and funs stop spinning after few swcconds. It was liquid damaged so we get it to turn on. However 3 long and 2 shor Caps lock lights showing. Power button turns the laptop on but not off.Battery is charging.
Please help and advice. I attachet the bios dumb in case the bios is the problem.

Hi Guys. I tried to get rid of the Admin password in Bios as is prompting on boot but the flashed bios is modified on the booting again and the password is back. I was told the passwordmight be in EC chip. Does anyone have EC chip for HP Envy 15-j184sa without password? Thank you in advance. -

Ah, I missed a line while reading. I tried flash the bios but still the same. Laptop is power cycling and not booting, no screen. I didn't flash EC cause never done it. Can this be an issue?Leave a comment:

I downloaded NHxxRC_RDx_B10706.zip as I assuming its for my laptop.

I have a similar laptop which starts and shuts off after 2 secs. I would try to re-program bios.
