    Hakko Mach-i 921

I can't afford at the moment this station so...

what about this HAKKO MACH-I 921 iron?

the local store says 370ºc and 55w of power!
but the link specs table shows 85w power consumption for the 921M-V12
could it be a chinese clone?

Is it good for recapping motherboards?

    the standard tip will do?
if not, what'll be the best tip?

    Cheers,

Hakko 950 SMT hot tweezers but no base or stand
    by redwire
I got gifted a Hakko 950 SMT hot tweezers but no base or stand.
    Any suggestions for building one?

"The 950 is compatible with the Hakko 936, 937, 939, 703, 926, 927 and 928 soldering stations." Apparently it has two heaters in parallel "24V 50W", one RTD temperature sensor 43-58Ω at room temp. 5-pin DIN.
I don't have any of those, have a 470-2 (no RTD in) and a FX-888A.

Need some recommendations for windows cloning.
    by AJ847.63e
    Hi All,

Just wanted to get some advice on what people are using for backing up/ cloning their windows installs and programs?

Two issues I'm looking to solve:

1: I'm looking at setting up a NAS for us in the office so I can clone and backup the two systems we have here. It would be nice if I could setup automatic backups that run weekly say Friday after 5pm so if windows decides to be windows and kill itself, we've got something to fall back on.

2: Cloning customer machines where needed. We're currently using AOMEI backuper but it is...

    Need to clone MC9S08FL16 MCU
    by Thabto
    Hi
I do not know which category this falls under so be tolerant. I have the need to clone a NXP/Freescale MCU, MC9S08FL16 to be exact. I can no longer order it, the company went under. I have a few blank MC9S08FL16 MCUs. I need to know if there is cheap programmer out there that can do the cloning. It is safe to assume that the one I want to copy is encrypted. Let me know. Thanks.

Finally bit the bullet on the Hakko FR301
    by jayjr1105
I've been eyeing this thing up for years but could never justify the cost. I'm doing more console modding and repairs so I finally bit. I don't have it yet but wondering others opinions. I'll not be surprised to hear "you should have bought X instead". Unlike the hundreds of decent Hakko soldering iron clones, I didn't feel the chinese desoldering clones came anywhere near this unit....
