Hantek DSO8060 DC coupling problem after firmware update

After I updated the firmware in my Hantek DSO8060 handheld oscilloscope meter, the DC coupling for both channels causes an overrange condition even with no signal applied and 0V DC offset set via the front panel controls, but AC coupling works OK.
I then tried a factory reset without success, and then I tried the automatic recalibration routine which fixed this problem.
In my theory, it appears a newer firmware version uses a different structure for the calibration constants (or updating the firmware has cleared them).

This could also affect other units (Hantek and certain others) too.
My first choice in quality Japanese electrolytics is Nippon Chemi-Con, which has been in business since 1931... the quality of electronics is dependent on the quality of the electrolytics.

HP officeJet 8012e ... A printer update will be installed to fix this problem
    by Artefil
    Hi,
One of the partner I'm mostly working with, brought his Officejet 8012e, facing a problem I'm failing finding a solution.
On the Officejet 8012e, there's only one USB connector on the back, for connecting the printer to a computer.
The screen displays the following message :
"a problem has occured with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem"
But even if the printer is connected through wifi to the network, nothings happen, and the printer stays idle for days.

    Have you ever...

ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 1: keyboard after firmware update without function
    by rumpumpel1
Lenovo System Update offered me an update for the firmware of the Folio keyboard for my X12 Detachable Gen 1. The update got stuck and after 20 minutes I switched off the laptop. Since then, the keyboard and touchpad have been without function. Does anyone know how I can revive it?

    Sony KDL-46HX850 Can't upgrade/update firmware
    by dkneyle
Diagnosed this TV as having a failed main board which I've replaced with one from a KDL 55HX850. They are (supposedly) the same board.

Being 'Smart TV' it requires a firmware reboot when you swap out boards such as T-Con or main board. It starts with a black screen and flashing yellow and green LEDS, indicating it needs that firmware boot. The procedure described all over the web is to put the software into the root directory of a FAT32 formatted USB drive and it should load that up once plugged into USB1 port. But not for me. I can see the LED on the USB chip flash for about...

    Philips 47PFS7509/12 LCD TV problem
    by janos6662000
    Hi

I have here a Philips 47PFS7509/12 LCD TV which came to me with a weird problem : without signal i could access menu, make a factory reset, access menus, etc.
When i applied cable signal to check image, i had normal picture, but TV was restarting.
I downloaded original firmware and applied the update, but the problem remained.
From a colleague i received a "factory package software" which is a lot bigger.
I made another firmware update, but still did not solve the problem.
Somewhere on the way the error got worse, because at the moment the...
