NF.Flux is apparently good but not magical. Alex is just very good at selling stuff!
I was wondering about how good it actually is compared to something else. Didn’t have much time to look into it as life is very busy at the moment for me. Was hoping that someone tried it. NRF Always uses a lot of flux when doing a repair. And at the end, he has a business and a family to take care of too. He is just for my liking a bit pricey. I had a $1k Epson slip printer board for fuel trucks here as a rush repair. I am sill using Amtech and the Weller WD1 with the WP80 iron. Works A1.

i cant see anything about the usable temperature range.
if you dont know when a fux will burn, you dont want to be using it.
You are not interested in the usable temperature range. Those are purely technical with laboratory tests. In practice, things are a little different, and tests must be done on the workbench.

Both VS-UHF-TF and NF.Flux will darken but NF.Flux will darken sooner and will turn into sticky gel while VS-UHF-TF will stay liquid until completely burnt off.
I posted my review about it and he absolutely hated it, calling me a liar and a hater and said i delete comments 😂

how do u use solid rosin flux?
            by ChaosLegionnaire
i recently bought a block of solid rosin flux from aliexpress. i intend to use it for reflowing cold solder joints and cracked solder joints. but im not sure how im supposed to be using it? do i just break off bits and pieces of it with a knife and put the bits of solid rosin on the bad joint im soldering then bring on the iron?

i tried asking google and they pointed me to a headphone forum and eevblog? and they said to just dip the soldering iron tip into the solid block. a small piece of flux will be attached to the soldering iron tip end and im supposed to use that to reflow...

I want to purchase any good flux remover But "chemistronic flux off es835b" is the most common flux remover in my nation..
Is it good to use chemistronic flux off es835b for flux remover?
Or I have to purchase "3m novec flux remover" which is quite expensive in my nation?

            Flux causing high resistance short?
            by evilkitty
Now that my de-soldering gun is working i was able to remove this panel i made about a week before i noticed a issue the F segment of digits 2 and 3 would go out, digit 2 would go before digit 3, but would come back after the humidity got down from running the ac (note the weather outside is 30.5 / 74%; panel data is from a BME280)

Temp is on the left humidity is on the right

i noticed when the humidity got up one or 2 of the center digits on the right panel would loose a segment

The pin out looking down from the top is (note this is common cathode)...

How can I remove flux with the smallest rubbing?
            by chth96
I have tried to bridging tiny broken trace which is shown in the below link, and I found that it is impossible to remove any flux after soldering task.
Is it possible bridging tiny broken trace - Badcaps - Capacitor Search Engine
Because the 0.02 mm copper wire is very very fragile,So It broke itself very easily whenever I tried to rub excess flux with cotton bud.
Is there any way to remove flux with the smallest rubbing or without any rubbing?
            Any reply would be appreciated.
