    Digital handheld IR thermometer

    Hey Guys,

    Can anyone recommend a good digital handheld IR thermometer, dont need anything to high in temperture, I guess max 300 degrees.

    I've bought UT301A:

    I like it, it lets you choose between C and F, you can adjust emissivity setting to adjust for various types of materials, can run from USB to save power...

    There's a cheaper model, UT300A:

    This one however doesn't let you adjust the emissivity and it's only up to 280c

      Don't know anything about it, just happened upon it the other day.
      Supposedly (-25.6° to 707° F)
      36 Monitors, 3 TVs, 4 Laptops, 1 motherboard, 1 Printer, 1 iMac, 2 hard drive docks and one IP Phone repaired so far....

        Thanks guys, gives me a few to check out. I'm after one to use when I repair pairs of GHD and CLOUD NINE hair straighteners.
