I thought I'd post this just in case it helps someone in the future.

The picture was very messed up, see photos below.

Sold by MYER (Australia), distibuted by YALE PRIMA.

PANEL: SAMSUNG S42AX-YB07
PWR Board: SAMSUNG PSPF365601A
X MAIN: LJ41-05780A
X BUFFER: LJ41-06256A
Y-MAIN: LJ41-05779A
Y BUFFER: LJ41-06109A
LOGIC CTRL: LJ41-05903A

MAIN BOARD: RC209FG-S1 , NOT SURE YET BUT I THINK MADE BY Shenzhen Siviton Technology Co.,Ltd

checked the voltages, all 100% ok. I swapped out the logic ctrl board but same result.

I've reseated and manipulated the LVDS lead, no change.

My thoughts were the main board was faulty.Someone suggested to me possibly corrupted EEPROM.

I had no manual and no idea who made this but i wanted to get into the factory Mode.

I've played with a couple of others PALSONIC/SANYO ( same firm that also builds DYNEX I believe) and the sequence to get into FActory Settings is:

SOURCE" FOLLOWED BY 2580 WITH THE SET ON.

I got lucky as this also worked on this set. after struggling for hours and making no progress I decided to try the "FACTORY RESET" option.

I was very reluctant to reset so I wrote down all the settings first and then took a chance.

It must have been corruption because now it's all fixed.

Thats a great fix and lots of useful information for others. We are seeing more and more corrupted eeprom stories and any help getting into the service menus is appreciated. Sometimes I believe factory reset takes it
too far back and then it needs a "company" technician to reset parts.
Anyway - long may it continue to work.
