Sorry for all the confusion. Here are original Main and EC dumps. I hope they're read properly and are not corrupted.
Currently the notebook doesn't turn on at all.

Everything up and working. Lessons learned:
-check chip id before reading/wriing to identify EC/Main (Different location between 15 and 17")
-do not program in circuit and desolder everything

I have the same problem. I bought zbook 17 g2 without knowing that the bios is locked. I was able to install new windows but still the bios is locked and i can't change the settings.
If you plz can help me in unlocking the bios and tell the way.

Just joking.
So to the point - you will need a programmer (ch341a is the cheapest one).
You will have to read the bios chip (with the programmer) and upload the file here.

i took time to order for a programmer and wait for the delivery.
i have used top programmer 2013.
the chip which i have is winbond 25Q16QVSIQ 1515 .
it is quite different from the other thread published here the 25Q128.
the thread is encripted twice.
here is the thread of the bios backup.

it is quite different from the other thread published here the 25Q128.
the thread is encripted twice.

W25Q128XXXXX is 128 Megabits flash memory chip = 128 Megabits (Mb) = 16,384 KiloBytes (KB)
So the bios bin file for your machine must be 16,384 KB.

25Q16QVSIQ is not the right chip > Search the motherboard for the location of the correct (128 Mb) bios chip > dump (and verify) the content of the chip and upload the resulting file here > someone will edit the file to remove the password for you > you'll write back the edited file to the chip> password removed > happy end (of story).

the posted bios is empty..remove the bios chip from the motherboard for writing or reading..do not use the clip..if any errors..try again and post again ..

A bit of a necropost maybe, but I hope it's related. I have the same thing here, a Zbook 17 G2 with a locked bios dump. Chip Winbond 25Q16DVSIQ.

I have dumped it a couple of times with my RT809H and they all match, and they are 2MB in size. Which makes sense because said chip is a 16MBit one

However, looking for the BiosUser00 string yields no results, which confuses the hell out of me. Do I need to extract/decompress it ?

The attachments in this thread are all 16MB (instead of 2MB) which is why I am so confused

In attachment you can find my dump, hope someone is willing to take a look at why I am doing wrong here ?
