recovery partition?
it wont save you from a head or surface failure!
thats what a backup drive is for....

the chinese sell control modules on Ali for peanuts.
thats not the issue, the issue is if you get it wrong the mosfets or IGBT's are very expensive and all blow together.
because the module handles "dead time" between the pairs and when shit goes bad you get both oposing semiconductors turning on together and shorting the output....

what i used to do,
2 drives, windowz and Linux.
use the windowz drive for stuff that wouldnt work in Linux BUT regularly try to run the software from Linux each time wine got updated.
it took about a year to not need the windowz drive
i'm still not sure what your device tree was, dvd drives are usually sr0 i think....

it should go low initially and then jump up to 5v

if the rails are good then look at the supervisor chip that generates the PG signal
it may even be just cracked soldering linking one of the vertical sub-pcb's...

NO.
the sine generator modules fail, they blow all your mosfets when they do.
this gives you an idea how they work
incidentally, they are not LF, they are high frequency pwm with the output then modulated to create a 50/60hz wave...

you dont see stuff online about fixing newer / current motorolla stuff because they allegedly have a legal team supressing 3rd party info on the products.
thats why you wont find anything online about their DMR radio's.
they make far too much on service contracts to share any crumbs!

the inductor near it makes it look like a buck or boost convertor though....

intel's latest 13/14 gen cpu's self destruct,
they should just give the market to AMD who pretty much own the gamer end anyway, and put their research into BattleMage.
they have more chance fighting Nvidia than AMD so thats the product to work on....

find the 32.768KHz crystal and see which chip it connects with.
then get a datasheet for that chip...

forget that.
read the roms - they are compatable with 27c040
these old yamaha keyboards are all losing their memory now.
if you search the forum their is a long thread where we dumped several keyboards to get a single good set of chip dumps....
