    Windows XP tablet edition

So I currently have sitting next to me an older Electrovaya Scribbler SC500 tablet.

It came out of a pile of twelve others, all equally abused, and right now I'm just cycling the battery to see how long that will last (this cell is awesome as it can last up to ten hours on a charge).
As usual, it came without a hard drive but it did come with a Windows XP Tablet Edition COA sticker on it. A quick google finds that not only is XP Tablet not available in retail but it was OEM so supposedly each install disc was specific to the tablet maker and thus the drivers included were generally different. Is this really true or can I "borrow" an install disc from a friend and use that instead? Electrovaya will sell me a replacement install disc for this tablet in a set of two for $40 after shipping. but do I really need to buy that disc?

As far as I am aware the only diff with tablet OEM versions is the SLC, just like regular XP. Borrowing a disk should work and then you can install the drivers. You may have some activation issues because the SLC won't match.

Yes, downloaded one for my tablet too. As long as you have the COA it will work. The one on the torrent site(s) is generic.

Okay. I'll rig up my external IDE CD drive and give a downloaded copy of XP tablet a go. Hopefully there are no nasty proprietary drivers to mess with.

xp tablet isn't much different than XP. They just have a few different programs relating to keyboard-less input.

DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error re. old drivers in Windows 11 install image
              by japlytic
In a Beelink GTR mini PC, mine has an Intel AX200NGW WLAN module.

              Tried (only with keyboard/mouse connected):
              • BIOS + database update
              • Using latest Windows 11 image built with official image creation tool
              • Previous setup version for Windows 11 installer
              • Replacing SSD without a slow block (the previous SSD had a slow block with access time > 500 mS)
              • TPM reset (worked to the point where DRIVER_PNP_WATCHDOG error message is displayed briefly after the point of stalling)
              • Disabling power to WLAN and LAN modules in BIOS (Advanced > AMD PBS > PCI Express Configuration)
              ...

              PS5 EDM-020 CFI-1116A Disc Edition - 1 Beep No Power/Light
              by tccyo22
Hi there, I have an EDM-020 CFI-1116A Disc Edition PS5. It originally had the 3 beeps on power which after grabbing a known working BIOS for this board and model it now will beep once every 20 seconds hitting the power button but will not turn on.

So far I have checked all voltage rails and everything seems to be present from 12v all the way down to 0.8v rails. However I am unable to connect to and read the UART and get error codes. Also something I found in my measurements is the bank of coils for the APU read 0.3ohms. Now I know that CPU/GPU lines have low resistance but I'm not...
