    ASUS FA507R - BLOD, cannot install windows

    I have an ASUS FA507R in for repair where I’m unable to install any operating system. The laptop works fine when booted from an external Windows or Linux drive, but any attempt to install on an NVMe SSD fails.

    I’ve already tested with three different SSDs (Gen 3 and older), and the issue persists. The laptop originally came in with a faulty SSD showing 0% health.

      Hello, I have an Asus PC that won't boot at all. While troubleshooting, I found the SIO IT5570VG chip was shorted. Once desoldered, the short was gone. I replaced it, and all the voltages returned, but nothing is displayed. I assume this blank chip needs to be reprogrammed. Could you please provide me with an EC BIOS dump for this model?
      I found the BIOS on the official website but I can't find the EC BIOS.

      Hello, I'm having a problem with this laptop. I can't get the two fans to work, so the laptop overheats and shuts down.

      There are no short circuits, the fans have already been replaced, and I've replaced the IT5570VG-128 SIO chip with a blank one. Now it powers on but doesn't charge the battery, and the fans still don't spin. Does this model need the SIO chip reprogrammed? Thank you for your help.

      I bought an SVOD programmer for this purpose, but it's impossible to get the SIO chip recognized in KBD mode.
