Bandwidth of Super G wireless networks

I am investigating the possibility of using a channel other than 6 for Super G wireless networking.
The one and only question to continue investigating this possibility: What is the bandwidth (in MHz) for each Super G channel?

nope, you can't do that! i always thought it was a "sweet spot" that allowed for-super-g to occur... and that spot is channel six.

      Blatant false.

All channels have same bandwidth. What give you best performance is the strongest signal strengh (S & N ratio lowest) by picking a channel that is not in use nearby since the wireless is only about 50 feet radius. Too many wireless AP even it is not yours on same channel *DEGRADES* the performance.

a is old now, most use enchanced b or g. But N is already inexpensive and does utilize much better chipsets instead of grabage Realtek.

Sometimes need high gain antenna for better sensitivity due to metal studs and bit farther away and there were few APs scattered around in our 9 floor apartment. Which I had to do this to my dad's computer. And using N wireless router also helps even I'm only using b+g.

      Cheers, Wizard

        I've found that Super G is 40MHz wide: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,1435720,00.asp
And I determined that you can use Channels 3 to 13 (Channels 12 and 13 for Japan only) for Super G.

then explain why my super-g netgear router only allowed super-g on channel 6?

Bad design? Only channel with s/n ratio good enough. My wireless sucks across the house because there are a zillion aps here on all channels.

[HELP] Acer AN515-55 (LA-J871P Rev: 1B) – Board won't power on after GPU investigation – Suspecting Super I/O or PCH

              Hi everyone,

I'm working on an Acer Nitro 5 unit with the following specs:
              • Motherboard: LA-J871P Rev: 1B
              • Model: Acer AN515-55-59MT
              • S/N: NHQ7JAL00403906A973400
              • SNID: 03902728734

              Initial Issue

The laptop initially presented graphic issues and driver failure (Code 43) for the GPU.

After preventive maintenance (cleaning, thermal paste, etc.), it powered on normally. We disassembled it again to inspect the GPU, reassembled...

old X58 triple channel board... memtest86 memory speed?
              by eccerr0r
Anyone run memory speed tests with an old X58-based triple channel 1st gen or any other >2 channel board? The one I have is a Gigabyte I think.

Anyway I had four 4GB DDR3-1333 modules in the 6 memory slots and got around 11GB/sec memory speeds assuming that it went dual channel since it didn't have enough modules for triple channel. Now I stuck in two more 4GB modules, but they are DDR3-1600. I'm still getting 11GB/sec speeds according to memtest86...

Just wondering, anyone do memory speed analysis on these triple (and higher) channel memory boards? Are there any...

Reverse engineering of 18650 4-channel tester
              by spleenharvester
              Hi friends

I have reverse engineered this tester, schematic is attached and is complete except for capacitor values. These testers annoyingly have no model number but they are the ones you find on the first page of just about any website if you type in "18650 4-channel tester". There is also a 2-channel variant and a newer 8-channel variant. They are very cheap (about £15) and can measure voltage, current, internal resistance and capacity. They have a multicolour display for all these statistics. They also have terminal blocks so that if you want to use a breakout board...
