MSN not working well.

Been more than 18 hours since I had MSN working, just a MSN not paid account.

Every time I try to log on, says mine is wrong even I have correct username and password (changed password successfully as a test). After I clicked OK on the error dialog MSN launched a browser and asked me to fill in more to validate my account with more personal info and I'm wary.

The launched browser is URL address:

https://account.live.com/Logincredprof.aspx?mkt=EN% (looong grabage characters snipped).

My buddy in USA have same problem as well except his kept booting off and have to log on again.

And not just on one PC. I tried two.

Google doesn't show up any problems yet. What's going on?

had something similar a while ago..
i had to update to the newest version of msn messenger

anyways... i'm still using MSN messenger 7.0 on my laptop (win2k) even if its blocked by M$...

how? rather simple... i edited the msnmsgr.exe file with a hexeditor and replaced all V7.0 version strings with the latest live messenger version string.
so the MSN messenger V7.0 works fine, because M$ thinks its the latest live-messenger

I had to give personal info to get it working. It's offical microsoft's. :P
