Reason for this question is that I'm wondering how close i'm running to Intels 136W rating for the QX's TDP, with my Q9450 at 400*8, 1.300VID, which gives about 1.26 Vcore idle, drooping to 1.18/1.20 under full Prime95 loading on all 4 cores.. I mean it's fun getting the performance of a $1500 CPU from a $330 one, but then again it's getting kinda hot, and i think i need a better heatsink to fit in my MicroATX chassis... Right now i have a Scythe Ninja Mini with a 80mm PWM controlled fan, which promptly revs to its full 3500 RPM rated speed under full CPU load..

VID range for these processors is 0.85v - 1.3625v.
A quad core on a Ninja Mini? Wow. I hope you have some good ventilation in there!
Maybe a better fan? You are running PWM, so it shouldn't be that obnoxious unless you really load down the system:

Good heatsink, small enough to fit in a micro atx case.
