    Overclocking problem

Ok, so I have this system I just built:

    Athlon X2 4000+ 2.1GHz
    Biostar T-Force 7025-M2
    2GB Kingston DDR2-800
    Samsung 250GB HD
    Samsung DVD-RW
    AcBel 550w PSU

Here is the problem. I can overclock it fine to about 250fsb. I set the max ram speed in the bios to DDR2-667, which results in an actual memory frequency of about 375MHz, or somewhere in there. Then I lower the HTT multiplier to 4x. After setting the voltages for everything correctly, it will all pass Prime95 (the new dual threaded version) nicely. Above 250fsb things don't work too well. But that's ok, 250 would be enough.

The problem is that pretty much anything above about 210 I get this strange problem. While it will all pass Prime95 for many hours, if I shut the system down and turn it back on, it will just sit there and beep at me like it has a memory error. The one long beep followed by silence, then another long beep, and so on. At which point, I need to reset the bios via jumper.

    Things of interest:
CPU stepping as best I remember it: NAA4G-0806BAG, Made in China
Motherboard is a new revision, 5.1. The other 7025 boards I've used have all been version 5.0, and have all had a stable FSB up to at least 300MHz.
Memory read speeds in Everest seem a bit low for the timings and speed it's running.

Any ideas? I have a test computer with very similar hardware, I may start swapping and try to see where the problem is.

    Re: Overclocking problem

    Update:

It just did it again at stock speeds. Everything set to normal.

      Re: Overclocking problem

It appears to have been the memory. I swapped that out and the problems seem to have gone away. Funny that it passed Prime95 but still had problems.

Problem with LG Plasma 60PM6700 - Random power downs
        by theone111
I have an LG Plasma TV 60PM6700 for the past ~12 years.

In the last ~3-4 months I have been having some issues.
        1. Problem: It started with random picture disappearing (sound still worked).
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait a few seconds before turning it on again.
        2. Problem: Then it got worse and the TV started to shut down and when turning on the no picture just sound.
Frequency: Happened about once a week.
Solution: Had to turn off TV wait about 10-20 seconds and turn it on again to solve.
        3. Problem: TV shuts down

        i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...

        Lenovo T580 - LCD Panel problem - error 0288
        by perzyk23
        Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise....
