You must have dirt cheap shipping over there. That's what you'd expect to pay here.

Even so, it's still a bargain IMO.

nice, but a little too molex heavy and SATA thin.

here's a link from another listing that shows the connector configuration:

I'm very tempted to buy this xD
FYI, it says there are two of them available.
Though, it's supposedly for intel boards? I might have to modify it then. :P

If I ever need more SATA power connectors then I will just modify it :P

Nope. I use one in my main PC. They are completely standard ATX, and aside from the lack of SATA connectors, will work in any PC with no modifications at all.

I have a few crimp-on SATA connectors which I've pulled from dead PSUs, and I added one to mine, so it just has enough connectors now plus 1 spare for another HDD.

                  Perfect for SCSI heavy computers.
Don't buy those $10 PSU "specials". They fail, and they have taken whole computers with them.

My computer doubles as a space heater.

Backlight strip quality, Amazon vs Ebay vs ShopJimmy. Is there really a difference?
                    by DXseekerMO
                    Hello everyone!

Recently I've noticed that some ShopJimmy backlight strips don't have double-sided tape installed upon them when an application calls for it, and I must purchase the tape separately. In a recent chat conversation with a customer service agent I told them if this tape wasn't applied when it was called for I would begin to consider ordering my backlight strips elsewhere. It looks like this time may have come.

I recently got a TCL 65S4 with bad backlights. After looking at the SJ listing here: https://www.shopjimmy.com/tcl-jl-d65...365as-m-led-ba...

how do you resolve problems with ebay (and other shop) scammers!?

When i need to replace cpu or gpu or pch ...i mostly order reballed chip from china, but lately there are more broken ones then working.
So lately i tried with ebay "not working motherboards". I ordered a few broken motherboards from ebay but i have found out that there are many scammers on ebay. The most of them are selling already destroyed motherboards with pictures in low resolution, some of them are being scammed and just scam forwarding...
First board i ordered last month was ok. Cpu was dead but i could use gpu and pch. The second arrived 2 weeks ago...and it was...

Samsung UN55NU7300F Curved TV. Half side backlight out. Fixed by just removing the rear snap cover
                    by howardc64
TV was fixed just after removing Samsung's rear snap cover.

This curved TV's construction is rather interesting. When the snapped on back is removed, rest of the TV will relax the curvature. Top of LCD panel is loose as it wants to straighten out against the slightly curved bezel. Snapped back provide most of the curvature shape. So just simple disassembly of rear cover will allow the rest of the TV frame to relax its curvature. Thats probably what fixed it but no idea which connection. 4x LEDs are edge lit.

Maybe PSU->backlight connector didn't have a good contact?...

Windows 10 Enterprise - From Ebay...

You find these on ebay all the time. Seller feedback is good in regards to them being legit...but I'm still leary. Anyone with experience with these? Seems quite a few around here are running enterprise; and unless ya'll are stealing the keys from your employers, where are you getting them?

Alright folks, today I present my latest "build", consisting of mostly spare parts with a few things off eBay.

                    Parts List and Pricing

CPU: 3/0GHz 4C/4T Intel Core i5-7400. Nothing exciting here, got it off eBay for $80.

RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR4-2400. Had it floating around. Free.

Motherboard: Gigabyte B250M-Gaming 3. Because I had it floating around and the model number contains gaming so it must be better, right? Free.

Storage: 240GB WD Easystore SSD. As far as I know, it's just the Best Buy rebadge of...
