    ASROCK extreme 6 Z77 00 error.

I there guys , got a here a crazy client , informing me that is board was not passing bios post . ok , we start looking for the board , my first option was to chek cpu socket or cpu since 00 error is cpu problem .
cheked that add some 3 pins ripped off , so i recreated does pins with a bit of patience and they were all perfectly soldered , no cpu make contact with all pins , i turn it on , ok give 00 error , but it sworks . but now i notice a few issues like as:

takes around 35 seconds to show any first image (bios) take big big time

another issue , if i put ram in dual channel in socket a1 b1 , turn on and off ... if i put them in a2 b2 works nice (should work both ways)
reflashed bios with latest version , but the same persist.

now machine goes to windows , install windows , pass's in several hardware and benchmark test .. but this issues above are killing my head since im not finding a fix for that debug code , and for the dual channel A .

any of you add this issue or have some ideas to figure this out ?

    sincerely

    Re: ASROCK extreme 6 Z77 00 error.

Given the CPU pins were ripped when you found it, who knows what else the original owner could have done to it. I sincerely do hope that you do find an answer to this, but I'm not sure what I can suggest to further troubleshoot this. I'm guessing you performed all other basic tests, such as checking CMOS battery, making sure the motherboard is seated properly, making sure you are using a reliable brand-name PSU, and etc.

(request) AsRock Z270M EXTREME 4 boardview
      by Jasonexe
      Hello,
I got AsRock Z270M EXTREME 4 that recently stopped working, culprit is missing vcore voltage. I'd like to know if there is a boardview for this motherboard.

      Thanks in advance.

old X58 triple channel board... memtest86 memory speed?
      by eccerr0r
Anyone run memory speed tests with an old X58-based triple channel 1st gen or any other >2 channel board? The one I have is a Gigabyte I think.

Anyway I had four 4GB DDR3-1333 modules in the 6 memory slots and got around 11GB/sec memory speeds assuming that it went dual channel since it didn't have enough modules for triple channel. Now I stuck in two more 4GB modules, but they are DDR3-1600. I'm still getting 11GB/sec speeds according to memtest86...

Just wondering, anyone do memory speed analysis on these triple (and higher) channel memory boards? Are there any...

Reverse engineering of 18650 4-channel tester
      by spleenharvester
      Hi friends

I have reverse engineered this tester, schematic is attached and is complete except for capacitor values. These testers annoyingly have no model number but they are the ones you find on the first page of just about any website if you type in "18650 4-channel tester". There is also a 2-channel variant and a newer 8-channel variant. They are very cheap (about £15) and can measure voltage, current, internal resistance and capacity. They have a multicolour display for all these statistics. They also have terminal blocks so that if you want to use a breakout board...
