linux mint is essentially ubuntu with a face lift.

According to the site it's community supported, so use the package manager in Linux mint and search for rosegarden. You might need to enable the community repo and then do a refresh of the package list and then search again.

I already explained this to him in his other post about this. That is why I scolded him for double posting.

Repairing a Music Store Professional GO! SUB 18A
          by h0m3w0rk
          Hello everyone,

I'm working on repairing a Music Store Professional GO! SUB 18A bass subwoofer, and I need some help troubleshooting an issue with the power amplifier board. The board uses an IR2153 driver and originally had two SLW20N50C MOSFETs. Unfortunately, these MOSFETs burned out. I replaced them with two TK20J60W MOSFETs; however, these also failed almost immediately.

          Here are some details:
          • SLW20N50C (original):
            • Rated for 500 V
            • Typical RDS(ON): 0.21 Ω
            • Continuous Drain Current: 20 A at 25°C (13 A at 100°C)
            • Pulsed Drain Current: 80 A
            • Avalanche

Dell 5591 overheating in memtest86+ but cool running Linux Mint - What causes this?
          by honigmann
This machine comes with the i7-8850H, no internal drive and no battery installed, the bottom cover removed, an original Dell power supply is used. I just installed 8GB RAM, ran memtest86+ and noticed a power draw of about 40-50W. Accordingly within minutes the temperature went up to just below 100 degrees with the fan spinning wildly. Same thing when I enter the BIOS (1.20.0), around 40W power draw.

Next thing I tried was an install stick with Linux Mint on it. Initially I am also at around 40W but with idle desktop (Xfce) it draws just 6,5W. Is this a BIOS issue? Version 1.34 is...

          Choosing appropriate PoE extender
          by Adenitz
          Hello,
I have an application that uses 4 cameras PoE. I have one PoE switch in a cabinet in a server room while Cameras are outdoor at different locations. The closest camera is at distance about 80m (that is the cable length), while the furthest camera is about 160 meters. For sure, three cameras are more than 100 m from the switch in cable length. Voltage level is about 48VDC (that PoE switch is supplying.
Since PoE is working reliably up to 100 meters, obviously I neeed to use some kind of PoE extenders. In order have two options:
          1. To buy 4 outdoor PoE extenders, like this...

Tivoli Music System+ no backlight on display resolved
          by cheeky2
Just had a Tivoli Music System+ without any led backlight display it turned out to be a variable 100k pot had gone open circuit on the variable leg on the pot!
I haven't seen any information out there on the internet regarding these units so thought it would help others in there search for resolving it!
The hot glue over time I guess which was all over it before I pulled it out had caused the issue with time.
The unit uses 3V leds behind the lcd display to illuminate it together with a photoelectric sensor to adjust the light output for the light intensity of the leds....
