Does it support a floppy disc drive and do you have a drive - I once helped someone update a bios on a machine that wouldnt do anything but it did manage to flash the bios from a floppy and start working again.Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

When you have devices connected (hard drive or CD/DVD or floppy drive) do you see them detected in BIOS Power On Self Test (POST) ?
You'll have to be quick to see them with an AMI BIOS compared to an Award BIOS, and no make or model detail is shown either
If you see nothing, try changing their connection cable(s) - cables can go faulty and prevent a drive being detectedbetter to keep quiet and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubtComment

If the ECS board thinks it's bad, irrelevant whether it works elsewhere
That Quantum drive is from a different era to the ECS board as well

What's not working right?
The system does not even POST, display is black,
LEDs on - power led, aiplane mode, capslock fpr few seconds in the start(when connected to ac power) only.
When did the problem happen?
My laptop had dual boot setup, ubuntu and windows 10.
It already had a moklist error, that would occur when i tried to boot ubuntu.

I have a Vizio D32f-E1 LCD TV that does NOT have a TCON board.
This TV recently went through some 'death throes' and now won't boot. The first problem that began to manifest was while watching tv, the screen would 'freeze', and the image would dim over a few seconds until it was very dark. HOWEVER, the audio of the show would continue as normal. I could power off the TV for 5-20 seconds, power back on, and the video would be normal. This would occur 1-3 times when the TV was first started, and would not happen again after the TV was 'warmed up'. Not ideal, but this glitch was manageable.... -
