    Problems Loading pages

I use Firefox (latest version) and not all the time, but most of the time when I go to a site like Ebay the page will take forever to load. I have made the changes that BadCaps suggested to my about:config file and this has not changed anything. I can go to other sites and not have any problem loading the page at all. Is this a Firefox problem or a problem with example Ebays servers? Is there a fix for this problem? Most of the time if I wait the loading page reverts to a time out error message and I have to reload the page again. By the way I have DSL service.

Have you ever stopped to think and then forget to start thinking again?

    Re: Problems Loading pages

Have you tried accessing the same ebay page with another browser? If you can access with no probs from another browser you know it's a Firefox problem. If it's just Firefox causing the problem, have you tried clearing Firefox's cache? I have had similar problems in the past and have sorted it by clearing the cache.

If none of the above work, run a full virus scan and a scan for malware, some malware will target specific sites and stop you accessing them. Malware bytes is a good free malware scanner.

Thanks I'll try the cache idea. I will try IE also. Already use MalwareBytes. Great program. Thanks for the help.

        USB problems?
        by Hondaman
Recently I discovered my SSD died (OCZ/Toshiba 240 GB). It was in a USB enclosure, attached to the Linksys WRT-AC1200 router. Since then I removed the USB enclosure and attached it to my Win7 PC (AMD 8150 CPU, 970 chipset, 64 GB RAM). I also gathered one or two other USB enclosures to figure out what is going on.

(I suspect that I lost quite a few MP3 and FLAC files I recently ripped from my audio CDs, I think I lost very little un-replaceable stuff.)

I think it is IMPOSSIBLE for Win7 to have any problems with a USB enclosure as long as Win7 knows how to speak to the...

Testing ATX PSUs under load - Does loading the ATX 24 pin also load EPS & PCIE?
        by AJ847.63e
        Hi Folks,

Just wanted to clear up a misunderstanding of mine (or what I expect is one). Isn't the 12V rail from the 24 pin, EPS and PCIE separated? IE if I put a power resistor on the ATX 12V pin that is not going to load, thus tell me if the EPS or PCIE rails are fine?

I was recently watching ArIs from Hardware Busters video on how to properly test ATX PSUs without using 5 figure Croma substations.

The PCB adapter he used breaks out the 12, 5 and 3.3V pins from the 24 pin and gives you banana plugs to connect to. That is a bit useless is it not? Aren't...

Lenovo 11e problems (any sata hdds are not recognized, sleep battery drain)
        by clabr
Need help to solve some problems with this laptop.

After working in bed with it one night and heating up too much (probably the cause of this problems) the sata HDD OS windows froze
After restart the original Sata HDD was not recognized anymore (but works fine in other laptops or PCs)

Tried connecting other good Sata 2.5 HDDs but not one is working in this laptop anymore (not the original nor others)

Before this had happened I observed some other problems:
When I tried replacing original mecanical HDD with a SSD HDD could not get them...
