man, you got to be serious. I can't even stand dual core. Anyway, I tried to repair a 5150 with blinking cursors and now they don't blink anymore. The c chip is fine, but to make sure, I re-soldered it. There were some "flat" chips that got burn, maybe this was the problem. I also think it could be the graphic card because some people reported that it could be damaged due to the heat, but at this point I'm pretty much gave up. What the *** could I did wrong that made the cursors not to blink anymore. Not sure what to tell my customer.

****, my bad. I re-read and still didn't see what is confusing about it. Have you guys heard about the blinking lights on the inspiron 5150 ? The culprit could be the motherboard or the graphic card due to the poor design of the cooling system. I opened one up and now the lights don't even blink anymore.
