Re: Whats Causing This Problem ?
the desync? like the screen being cut up?
Try it on another computer. I've seen something like this quite a few times. It's usually caused by the graphics card / its drivers combined with powersaving stuff (it clocks itself down to the bare minimum to save power) -

My ATI HD 4850 shows minimal tearing for a picture on a 2560x1600 display. Maybe you need a better video card.Comment

Re: Whats Causing This Problem ?
Just enable vertical sync in the intel control panel, problem solved!Comment

Re: Whats Causing This Problem ?
Force vsync on in the driver.
If still not helping, and your browser is Firefox, type about:config and press enter
In the filters box, type "acceleration" and you should see "layers.acceleration.disabled" popping up in the list below. Double click on it until you see "True" under value on the right. Restart the browser.
This disables the hardware acceleration of font and images inside the browser and switches back the classic 2d acceleration - the old style is not that sensitive and should have less tearing.Comment

Re: Whats Causing This Problem ?
You obviously don't have the latest driver installed. I have the 2500k and even I have the vertical sync option, it's in the advance configuration tab.Comment

by Zeonalbastai have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double... -

Hi. I have a problem that has been going on for some time (2-3 years). It's hard to explain what it really is. Sometimes, my computer stops playing music, stops videos (starts buffering on youtube), there is no sound in games and when I minimize the game window and return to the game there is a black screen with window borders... -
by perzyk23Good morning,
I have a problem with Lenovo T580, which after error code 0288 suggests a problem with the display. I checked the display and it works on another laptop. I replaced the display cable with a new one. I programmed another BIOS (downloaded from this forum) and I still have the problem of a dead display - there is an image via HDMI, and the system does not detect the built-in LCD at all. The problem appears to be hardware. What can I check to confirm or disprove this? I found many threads on the Internet related to this problem 0288, but without specific solutions. Please advise.... -
by SDNarciaHello, I have a Dell 15R-5521, with the problem that the Ctrl, Alt, Shitf and Num Lock keys do not work, I tested the keyboard with a keyboard tester and it is functional, I also got another new keyboard and the computer has the same problem with the same keys. Check continuity between the ZIF connector from the keyboard to the KBC and all pins are correct. I cleaned the ZIF connector and the KBC and I still have the same problem. I reinstalled windows just in case, and it didn't work. I updated the BIOS to the latest version A16 and there were no changes.
