smd cap approx 5mm x 6mm high, markings 95TA, 47, 16v, is this 47uF 16v? Its been broken off a mobo when the owner tried to fit a graphics card. Ordering a single unit in the uk may be difficult but I've managed to find a cap on a graphics card with the markings 24, 47, 6A possibly 1mm higher but the same diameter could this be used?

Plastic base is: 5.3mm x 5.3mm
Cap is: 5mm x 5.8mm
Minimum 5 pcs = $3.32
ESR: 0.7Ω Ripple: 160mA
These are more for noise filtering & trace length compensation than power filtering.veritas odium paritComment

Re: Identify smd cap value
Although a slightly bigger case width, is this cap suitable?

And exactly how would I know where you are located?
Location box in profile......?
RS Online has a better selection.
Either is fine, in order of my preference:

by digitalDNAHello,
I can't identify a component labeled Q1 on the main board of a redundant server PSU from Etasis, product name EFRP-465
ICs on the board have labels with prefixes U, so we have U1, U2, etc. The mysterious component is labeled Q1, so it must be a transistor (BJT)/MOSFET/etc.
I have attached the image for Q1.
I have searched multiple SMD reference websites without being able to identify the component.
Here is some important information from the board::
1. Pin 2 and the tab are connected to GND (after unsoldering Q1,...10-07-2022, 04:47 PM -

by Paxman_SwedeHello!
I have two projects on my work bench. One is a friends dead JBL Xtreme speaker with a blown voltage regulator and corresponding bulged and shorted cap. That cap has clear markings so I know what replacement I need for it.
The other project however is a whole different deal. It's a Zoom 9000 guitar effect from the 90th that has developed a devil hound howl when there is no input from the guitar. I'm guessing caps problem. So, since I don't really use this effect anymore I thought it would be a perfect project to learn on.
I have studied the board and...-

by Alfiehhey Im very new to repairing electronics with capacitors as well as using a multimeter so I need so help/guidance fixing this issue
recently I was handed a family members old NAD C320BEE that they had in their loft for storage for a few years but when powered on it went into power safety mode due to a problem on the protection circuit somewhere before it went into storage I was told it worked fine I found lots of people online talking about how the capasitors are known to be pretty bad in this model and can cause this issue the only problem being I don't have much experience sorting...-
