does mOhms mean mega or mili?

I was looking for alternate caps to replace one i have in cart that is not in stock when i came across a Panasonic EEU-FS (i do not recall seeing anyone here recommend this series but it is a new one)
    https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...c/EEU-FS1V331L

anyway i have a FR series cap with a ESR of 41 mOhms but this EEU-FS cap has a ESR of 0.041 Ohms, since both these caps are a "Low ESR Electrolytic Capacitors" i guess mOhms would have to mean mili right? unless "low" is entirely an opinion

      m- milli, 10^-3

      M- mega, 10^6

Do you really think posting in the same thread as a cat is a good idea?

A long time ago i made a change change utility for a web site...
i just on a whim made it it's own html page
so now you can type in iNvErTeD CaSe all day without ever typing it
*Protip you can have firefox open bookmarks in the side bar (see bookmark settings)

Thank you, yes, capitalization matters... Serious pet peeve against when people write the wrong capitalization for SI unit multipliers, despite a lot of times it cam be inferred (a capacitor with megohms or kiloohms (what's the correct spelling of kilo ohms anyway?) of ESR is virtually useless...)

Now I just need to make sure people get bit and Byte correct as the difference between mb (nominally millibit) and MB (nominally megabyte) is huge...

1970 Metal Lathe Control Circuit blowing fuses on the 120 volt section failing meager test below 60 mega ohms
            by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this machine yesterday and I now going to use an incandescent lights instead of a fuses to figure out what the issue is with it blowing control voltage rail but this not the only issue the coolant pump failed the meager test as well as the main motor as well this motor has 12 motor wire leads instead of the normal 9 wires

This metal lathe has a weird motor setup it has a soft start motor with a “Y” and a delta type of motor winding setup and it is not done in the motor pucker head enclosure it is with four different contactors wired in a configuration I have not...

Acer Aspire E5-574G - Not Powering On
            by novice1
            Laptop name Acer Aspire E5-574G. Processor = i7-6500u. GPU = NVIDIA GEFORCE 940M. Motherboard Model = DA0ZRWMB6G0

This laptop was not powering on at all so I started investigating. The blue light would come on for a second, and then disappear. Fan would sometimes turn on for a second and then shut off immediately, and at other times would not turn on at all.

To start with, about 3 months ago I had no clue about soldering, motherboard schematics, board view, and then I stumbled about this forum and other stuff online. I have never done any of those before. But to ask...

1708 EMC3164 macbook have power issues
            by itzusman
            Hi Masters.

My 1708 EMC3164 macbook have power issues. First it was working fine but a bit slow in booting. Net day i turned it on and it didn't powered on. And i tested with usb meter it suddenly @ 20v it takes 2.6 ampares and cpu gets hot. Then i checked the baord and PPBUS_G3H was short to ground. I injected 1v to it it takes 350ma and cpu gets warm. After opening L7410/20/30 there was inly L7420 line was short then i injected 3v to PPBUS_G3H and it takes 2.5 amps and U7420 got hot and i desolder it. Now after that in the start it takes 0.580 amps and goes to 620-30 mili amps....

MacBook Pro A1990 stuck at 5v .592 amps
            by Fisher8865
            Hi guys

I have a MacBook Pro A1990 that takes 4.9 Volts and .592 to .615 amps on one port. The other port on the left side power cycles with about the same amount of volts an amps but quickly power cycles. The same thing happens on the other side but opposite. So on the left side the bottom port stays on and on the right side it's the top one. I think it is a CD3215 chip but I am not sure how to test it or where to get one. I have checked for voltage at ppbus_g3h and it has 12.6 V which is also on fuses f7000 and f7001 I checked pp1v2_s3 and it has 1.2 V then...
