        >> 4v is ok for replacing 6.3v <<
ONLY if the capacitor is on a voltage lower than 4v.
Cap's rated voltage HAS to be at or above circuit operating voltage + ripple voltage.

Vcore caps are at the same volts as the CPU Vcore which would be under 2v so even 2.5v caps would be okay there.

Any other 6.3v caps are either on 3.3v or 5v and it that case you need to measure the voltage with a meter to make sure it's on 3.3v before you go down to a 4v cap.
        105 oC - temp rating
        a0420 - date code -> year 2004, week 20, I dunno what the A means.
[from year 2001-2004 HN and HM were defective.]
        HN is series code
        (M) is uF tolerance of +/-20%

        560uF HN are 8x11.5mm, 3.5mm lead space, ripple 1300, ESR .013
Same or better grade replacements are:
HN with date code after 2004,
Rubycon MCZ, Samxon GC or GA, Nichicon HZ
Solid polymar - but watch the ESR, there are solid polymer out now that aren't rated as good as high grade electrolytics.

That black/white one next to it is probably an HM and those should go too if the date code is 2001-2004.

iirc the one in the pic is either on vcore or vdimm.
and i lean toward polys esp on vcore and vdimm.

How do you know they are not on high volt side of Vdimm regulator and on 5v and those HMs on the low side?

                                        Re: replaceing caps on d865perl

This was a while ago now but I've had bad KZG on some MSI [i845 chipset] boards on both high and low sides of VRM. [KZG were not in high and low at the same time on one board. If they had KZG on high side they had MBZ on low and visa/versa.]

KZG looked okay but measured bad.
Boards weren't booting at all so I changed all the KZG out with MBZ and that fixed it.
                                        -
The boards had Teapo on them too but I didn't replace those until later after replacing the KZG got them booting again.

I don't think heat could be the issue on the VRM 16v side KZG. Those had lots of room for air flow and the cases weren't small and were well ventilated.
PSU's were all different and checked out okay.

Maybe my experience was a fluke but I still don't trust KZG in anything.
