Hi,
I am not going to be able to get some proper caps for a faulty TV of mine (Samsung plasma) which has a failed standby cap (2200uF, 10V), for several days (I'm waiting on putting in a larger order with Farnell).
I do have two types of caps of the correct capacity, but neither are ideal. One is an Aishi 2200uF/16V, but this is general purpose. The other is an OST 2200uF low-impedance, but it's only 6.3V. Neither are exactly brilliant quality but would only be in for a week or so.
Of the two, which would be the preferred option as a stop gap?
