    i just thought of something.
    maybe the original track you fixed got burned because of the short - see if that track connects to either of those cap pads.

        Hi guys, i was wondering, i've got 9Ohms on Vmem, one of the mosfet was shortet to ground, so i've desoldered hi and low mosfets nad still low res, then i removed all of the memory chips, and the resistance is still low, so did you had maybe a card with that low res on memories, and the card was working fine ?
        Removed the U1866Q and still without result, i dont have thermal cam so can't see where is hot spot when incjeting voltage.
        The resistance on core is ok 0.1Ohm ((Power 0.8V when on)
        Resistance on 12V 4K ohms (Power present when on)
        Resistance on 12V PEX 4K ohms...

        Laptop name Acer Aspire E5-574G. Processor = i7-6500u. GPU = NVIDIA GEFORCE 940M. Motherboard Model = DA0ZRWMB6G0

        This laptop was not powering on at all so I started investigating. The blue light would come on for a second, and then disappear. Fan would sometimes turn on for a second and then shut off immediately, and at other times would not turn on at all.

        To start with, about 3 months ago I had no clue about soldering, motherboard schematics, board view, and then I stumbled about this forum and other stuff online. I have never done any of those before. But to ask...

        Hello Everyone and Good Day,

        I've got an issue with this desktop motherboard. It does not power on, Asus Prime H310M-A R2.0. I tested 33ohms reading on 3v line on the ATX connector. It beeps on continuity mode. I tried injecting voltage from 0.9v at 1.5amps and no current being drawn. I raised the voltage to 3v @ 4amps and now I only get 22mA on current. I checked with thermal camera and there is no part heating up. I'm afraid of going further the safe voltage. What could possibly causing the line to be shorted. 5vsb has no short. I get 0.9v on positive pin of power switch. There's...

        A2485 - No Backlight - 820-02100

        Have functional A2485 unit, all things work but backlight is out.

        There was some liquid corrosion around UP800's Caps and Res(s) - Cleaned all well . No change.

        I measured resistance to ground of all UP800s surrounding components on another working board.

        The components that are not correct on this board, with backlight out are:

        CP810 - should have 250K resistance at Pin 1, its reading 80 Ohms
        CP811 - Should have 25K at Pin 1, its reading 80 Ohms
        RP805 - Should be 30K on both Pin 1 & 2 - Pin 1 is 50Ohms and Pin 2 is 200ohms...

        Help repair Panasonic fridge not cooling

        Hi all forum members,

        Few days ago, i might have forgotten to close my home fridge freezer door completely. The next day, the ice cubes and frozen meat almost melted halfway and the freezer doesn't feel cool. I shut it off, wipe dry and let it air dry for one whole day. The next day i switched on the fridge, the compressor run for a second and it shuts off(no vibration and no sound at all) only the internal freezer compartment fan is running but is not cooling even i switched on a full day.
        After shut off, i dismantle the rear water pan holder and reached to the compressor wiring....
