Re: Help with DELL XPS M1730 capacitor replacement

The M1730 will work for a few moments then will crash and when I keep turning it on after that it will turn on and stay on but will not display (have a black screen) then after leaving it off for a while then turn it on it will display and the process repeats, so I assume it'll be the GPU, after the post you can see it says that it shut itself down because it got to hot, I'm not sure that's relevant as physically the chips aren't hot and have new thermal past, thoughts? anyone got a 9800GT or GTX SLI for the M1730 they can sell me cheap?

The M1710 is quite similar to your M1730...
