What does multiple bad caps mean?

I opened up a Vizio that has 8 bad caps, 6 on the PSB and 2 on Main. Made me wonder if there's somethin' amiss that I should get educated on, and BadCaps is the best place for that, so here I am!
I know the brand(Teapon) is one of the stinky brands, but wondered could that alone be the culprit, or should I consider a second(or maybe root) issue?

It means that the series of caps used sucks and has issues. The chances of something else being wrong with your board is unlikely just badcaps that fail due to being rubish. Replace them and enjoy.

It's Teapo and they aren't the worst out there, despite some here saying that they're real bad. They're at least in the middle. You typically see them on better PSUs. They're not bad like Sacon.

The worst of the worst tend to be GSC, Lelon (At least their aqueous electrolytic caps) and Sacon.

Also "Chhsi", usually found on real early MSI motherboards. (Usually real early 2000s and 1999)

"JPCON" appears to be another nasty one. Same with later YEC caps.

Yes, excessive heat can cause even good caps to fail eventually. Or ripple currents beyond what the cap is rated for.

As stated above neither scenario likely applies in your case. Replacing those caps with good high quality caps is all you need worry about.
