Re: LG 47LV5400 no backlights, voltage present
No voltage for DRV_On, and the filter caps read at most 398(fluctuates from 390 to 398).

LG 47LV5400 no backlights, voltage present
Hey guys,
I found this exact problem here https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=53216&highlight=47LV5400
but the person posting it stopped the repair with a choice to bake the main in an oven for reflow, etc, and just when you guys were getting to what I think I need to do...I stopped at ( I think? ) Budm's advice to check voltage of the filter caps. I can't remember how that is done.
I have the following voltages at P201:
1 N.C. ERROR
2 12v 11.92 *labeled as should be 12v
3 12v 11.92 "
4 12v 11.92 "...

Re: Toshiba 23l1350u standby voltage present, won't power up
I've looked everywhere I know of for the schematics of this TV, but no luck. I am hoping to find someone with a service manual that includes schematics, and buy it, if so.
I will be getting around to starting the backlight and tcon testing, as you've instructed, soon. I'll no doubt have questions...

Re: Toshiba 23l1350u standby voltage present, won't power up
I am understanding this looks like a main board issue, right? Any suggestions as to what I can test for failure, or do you guys suggest just replacing the board? I'd much prefer learning how to repair what's wrong, which is what you guys are so good at helping with!...

Re: Diode test results show reading both ways
Using diode mode on my DMM, the diode shows 204 and 1331 while the board is connected. Without connection, it shows 204 and OL. I'm sorry, I don't know what you mean by "Ohms, K Ohms"...well, I understand what Ohms are, in general, but not how I'd know numbers other than 204 and 1331. 204 is the forward bias and 1331 the reverse. Are you asking me to test resistance instead of in diode mode?...

Re: Diode test results show reading both ways
The info below is another posting by me at https://www.badcaps.net/forum/showthread.php?t=59414
I started this posting because I didn't get a response about the diode issue there, and thought is was important....
There's no standby led lighting up. Without the main board connected, I get 5.14 on the 3 pins labeled for 5v for what I assume is standby(con isn't labeled as such...see pics). With main board connected, I get the following pin voltages:
1 gnd
2...
