    Help identifying brown "LE" caps?

I was not able to find anything matching these caps in the good/bad cap threads or by searching the forums -- I'm sorry if I've overlooked something obvious, though...

I have a fairly old but functional Tyan 2505 (dual 1GHz P3). It consistently fails memcheck86 test #5 (block move). All other POST and memcheck tests pass. But it seems to be getting more unreliable so I thought I would take a look at the power supply and caps.

From what I've been able to find on the forums here it looks like most of the smaller caps are Rubycon ZL. But aside from one pair of OS-CON caps, most of the larger caps are brown plastic, labeled "LOW ESR" on one side and "[LE]" (letters inside a rounded rectangle) on the other side. (They do not look at all like the pictures on the Nichicon LE datasheet.) The pressure relief is a stylized "H" (or an "I", perhaps, if you look at it sideways...)

    A picture is attached.
Does anyone have an idea what the manufacturer might be?

    Thanks and Best Regards,

    T.

    maybe jamicon?
first thing i would do is clean that filthy thing esp the dimms and sockets.
i have simply cleaned up many "bad" dimms and restored normal operation.
not saying the caps cant be bad but unless you have a scope or esr meter leave them for last as replacement is the easiest way to test without equipment.

Yup, probably Jamicon (not too bad) or Choyo (bad) or Hermei (really bad).

I guess it is the brand before "GSC", just like "GSC" changed to "Evercon" now.

However, the product series never changed till to now, still call "LE".
        My SAMXON Capacitors Database HERE!!

X-CON is a new brand for SAMXON's Polymer Capacitors.
