Spotted 2500uF DURA capacitors in 1200w psu

Saw these Dura branded capacitors in a Thermaltake 1200w power supply:

    Review: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2015/...3#.VPEDlVdPmIg

Jumped in my eyes that it says 2500 uF 16v on them and they have the Panasonic groove on top and they look like regular electrolytics but Duratech has no electrolytics on their pages: http://www.dura-elec.com/produtcs-4.html

      I couldn't say they're junk...
Like I said, they're supposed to be made by an American company, so I suppose they should have some quality control. Thermaltake supposedly started using Duratech polymers since 2003 but this capacitor company is still somewhat unknown.

I'm more irked about the value itself, it's not one of the standard values.. 1800uf, 2200uf,2700uf, 3300 uf ... chosen to overlap when you consider the +/- 20% tolerance.

And I'm a bit irked that they would put the electrolytic so close to the heatsink, almost touching it... but it's a platinum psu so there shouldn't be that much heat until you go way up to 800+ watts.

Hmm I wouldn't trust them, just looks suspicious and especially next to that heatsink.

Looks like planned obsolescence to me.
