    Capacitor Advice

Are the following capacitors considered good/bad...?

    Nippon Chemi-con SME series 470uF 16V.
Are these the same as United Chemicon?

    Yageo 6.3V 1500uF - don't know series.

Any help. insight and advice greatly appreciated

    To add to this list as they are not in the good caps list are;

    Rubycon 1uF 50V M334 RS-300

So far as badcap advice refers to any cap value over and above
470uF, are these for general purpose use or do they have any
    other specific usage?

Can't find them on the Rubycon series chart

Rubycon and Nippon Chemi-Con are good brands, never heard of Yageo. Check the list of good capacitors and list of bad capacitors threads.

Yageo is owned by the Teapo, and makes of a lot of SMD ceramics and other passives, mostly for RF applications. Those are mostly high quality. The quality of their electrolytics isn't well known, but they haven't been seen in mobo applications for almost a decade. I guess they've chosen not to compete on price, like Elna, for the volume motherboard market.

NCC = UCC. The SME series is a high quality GP part. That Rubycon part sounds like it might be a GP part also.

            Re: Capacitor Advice

I understand that both Nippon Chemi-Con and United Chemi-Con are the same brand - the only difference is whether they were manufactured inside or outside Japan. Am I right?

Both Rubycon and Chemi-con are good brands; not too sure about Yageo though.
You know there's something wrong when you open your PC and it has vented Rubycons...

Has anybody seen or heard of

              NKNC brand?

I have two of these with an ESR of 2.6 and 2.7 respectively?

They are 50V 10uF and are not s/c - replace?

I have mostly seen Teapos on PSUs and there they should stay because for the most part they fare well.

But on mobos like Epox they are horrible.

As a Pixl called them on mobos T-blows .
