Having a hard time finding one of these in stock anywhere.

It's 17 years old. It did it's job. All it says on the other side is:
nichicon
CE 105C
C U (M)
I did eventually find something on Digikey that had the same specs. https://www.digikey.com/en/products/...KA54M/17728518
That was the only 1900uf 220V snap in capacitor in stock I could find anywhere on the internet. I'm hoping that is good enough to get the TV back up and running. I would like to get another nichicon for longevity but I can't find them for sale anywhere.Last edited by SluggerB; 06-03-2025, 08:07 AM.Comment

by chth96I usually tried to find datasheet which contains Maximum ESR value like KME datasheet.
https://www.westfloridacomponents.co...0RM10X20LL.pdf
As far as I know,Maximum ESR means boundary ESR value for bad capacitor.
But,In many case, there is no ESR value in datasheet like below links.
SAMWHA-RG Series (mediafire.com)
samyoung_SMS_Series (mediafire.com)
GF-SAMXON (mediafire.com)
So If there is no information about ESR value but only Loss tangent value in datasheet ,I always calculate maximum ESR value by using below...-

**Picture called Overview points out the cap in question***
I have this RTX 2070 - It boots into bios but smells really burnt, so I opened it up I and saw the culprit:
An SMD component with "100 C85" written on it.
I want to find a replacement, and put it in to see if that fixes the card,
but I have no experience in finding electronic components,
and I dont even really know what a capacitor does in detail.
Can some one help me, I have no real knowledge of electronics,
but I have... -
by PrologHi people, I hope this is the correct spot to post this, I'm new to the forum.
I have an RTX 3080 Founders Edition which has a burnt up capacitor (it was in parallel with another capacitor which appears damaged too), so I am hoping to be able to identify the capacitor values and order replacements.
I hope these photos make it clear which component I am referring to:
(yes, the soldering is a bit botched from removing the blown one, I know)
I have found the board schematic (attached), but there does not seem to be a boardview available. I have never... -
by wagollaCan anyone identify the value of the damaged capacitor in the photo of the HP9115C 6kVA UPS? The UPS turns on but displays an error, and the battery won't charge. The specific capacitor value is crucial for troubleshooting, . Please help to fix this problem3 Photos

by SluggerBI am trying to fix a broken plasma TV by replacing a large cap on the power board. It is a 1900uf 220v cap and I could only find one place that sells them. It was listed as through hole, so I bought it. It showed up today, but instead of through hole, it has spade connectors.
Would it be safe to get some heavy duty wire (like lamp cord wire), connect that to spade connectors, connect them to the spades on the cap, and run the other ends of the wire 2-3 inches to the holes and then through the holes and solder them in place? I actually did it already and put it together but...-
