Kemet and Wurth have kits, but the values in the kits don't always make sense.

I haven't seen many Elna caps since Taiyo Yuden bought them.

What would you say is the best made cap out there? I have also used Vishay from Mouser and others but they don't make kits. I think Vishay is who bought Sangamo.

best electrolytics are from panasonic, rubycon, nichicon and NCC (nippon chemicon)
wurth are new to the game but seem to be reliable so far.

If you're looking for electrolytic cap kits, they have plenty at DigiKey from good brands.

Thanks: Went there before but didn't see any kits....Thanks for the heads up. Some of the chinese caps check bad for leakage. So if you are going to use them, make sure you check them.

I am looking for capacitor & Inductor values for my TOSHIBA Qosmio X500-110 - mobile graphics - Nvidia GTS 250M Laptop.

                  Values for :-
                  =========
                  PC43 : Capacitor [3x1.5mm]
                  PL7 : Inductor [2x1mm]
                  PC39 : Capacitor [1x0.5mm]

                  Any ideas would be appreciated.

I can get Capacitor values from nearby components but wanted to know the max ratings also I dont have equipment to measure inductors....

Different (lower) resistor values on PCB?
                  by Kobok
                  Dear Alls,
For sure it id a stupid question, but help me to understand. I am in a Dell 2007WFP revitalizing project - searching reason why not starting. Some resistors needed to replaced is is obvious. When I have soldered some resistors the measured (with multimeter) values were sometimes rather different written on them. I supposed these are wrong units so I desoldered and made a checking measurement and voilá the values is the same is written on. This happens only in case of a few resistors, most have the same values (+/- 10%) are written on it. "strange" SMD resistors =>103...

Recapping Sony ICF-SW55 - verifying cap values
                  by proxneo
                  Dear reader

I am performing a repair on a Sony ICF-SW55, which includes recapping (some) of the SMD capacitors on the mainboard. I am looking for verification of their values. At the moment, I'm 95% sure I've got the right values, but it is hard to find some official, credible or multiple independant sources on this.

At the moment, I have selected replacements based on the following list of values:

                  3 x 470uF 10VDC
                  3 x 4.7uF 35VDC
                  4 x 47uF 50VDC
                  8 x 22uF 6.3 VDC
                  1 x 220uF 6.3VDC
                  5 x 100uF 6.3VDC

                  Which...

Need help identifying resistor values near BIOS chip on ASUS Zephyrus G14 GA402XV
                  by skdsp
                  Hello,

I purchased a laptop that the previous user had tried to remove and replace a BIOS chip using a soldering iron not knowing that there is a ground pad under the 25R256JWEQ chip. In that process he damaged the BIOS chip and 3 of the resistors near the IO3, CLK, and IO0 pins. I have programmed a spare 25R256JWEQ chip using a CH341A programmer but not sure what values those resistors should be. If anyone has a boardview of this area and can provide those values that would be very useful for me.

                  Attached is the photo.

                  Thank you!

Here some measurements on HP Victus 16-d0500la, it might help someone, the values are on diode mode->mV and some lower ones on Resistance->Ω.

This specific laptop has an Intel i5 11400h + RTX 3050TI, the values are from a working laptop....
