    UK Capping veterans plz look

After reading about this capcitor debacle I Noticed my Epox 8rda+ has two bulging caps next to the mosfets, 2200uF ones. Found this site and am seriously thinking about replacing all the caps. What I would like to know from an UK based guys who have done this, where did you get your caps from? I've looked at RS and Farnell but they only have a few caps available in 10mm diameter, most of the larger capacitances start at 12.5mm.

Accoriding to another post on these forum, the required caps for my m/b are:

    4 off 2200uF 10v 10mm
    6 off 3300uF 6.3v 10mm
    6 off 1500uF 6.3v 10mm
    8 off 1000uF 6.3v 8mm

1500uF seems a rare size anyway, would it be ok to use 1200 instead?

Cheers m8, were you able to order in quantities of anything less than 200 parts? seems like 200 in the minimum order level = 50 quidish just for one size

            Cyberpower 1500AVR UPS repair
            by quickname
I'd like to start out by thanking this forum for providing the info to be able to repair my 15 year old CP1500AVRLCD UPS. Here is all the info I gathered during my trouble-shooting and re-capping.

Like clockwork, I've had to replace the SLA batteries every 4 years. It was about that time and the UPS was acting like it needed new batteries... randomly shutting off with AC present, not being able to charge fully, and poor runtime when AC was removed. So, I replaced the batteries but noticed that it was not charging properly.

I decided to verify that the batteries were...

Okay to use 6.3V caps on 3.3V line of PC PSU?
            by em132
            Hi,

I'm currently in the process of re-capping a NOS (new old stock) Sparkle ATX-400PN (from the late-2000s), which was chock-full of Teapos and CapXons . Am looking to put a yummy mix of NCCs, Panos and Rubys in their place.

Here's the problem I ran into: The 3.3V rail is filtered by a single 4,700uF/10V Teapo... The problem? This thing is only 10mm wide, and a wider (12mm) cap will not fit! I've searched the "big three" shops (Mouser, Digikey, Newark/Farnell) and all the 4,700uF/10V I found were at least 12mm wide. The closests matches I could...

            MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0)
            by ssl6
            Hey Everyone,

Long time lurker, but I think this is my first time posting.

Just looking for some assistance on identifying some suitable replacement capacitors for an MSI K7T266 Pro (Ver. 1.0). I just got my hands on two of them actually, both working but one has some visibly bulging capacitors and the other has a few that I can't tell for sure if they're bulging because it's faint at best if they are.

I'll be honest I don't fully understand much on capacitor spec sheets beyond voltage and capacitance but I can solder like nobodies business so I've...

            4700uF 6.3v and 3300uF 16v in a 10mm Diameter
            by Topcat
Where can I get them these days? My usual sources are a no go in a 10mm, 12.5mm is too big. I'm recapping an old Antec rackmount PSU for a client (SmartPower SP2-450SXR) with a bunch of spooged Fuhjyyu crap caps, and he's insisting it be repaired....which is fine by me, I make more on it that way.....but I need to find these illusive caps....it's been a long time since I've needed these values....and now I can't find them. Odds are I could get away with 3300uf in place of the 4700uF, I've done it before...but if there's a source for them in 10mm, I'll try to stay original.

Xiaomi router freezes at boot after re-capping
            by hinisa
I'm using Xiaomi Router 4A gigabit edition as wireless repeater. It worked fine for 2 years or so, but last week, wireless started to disappear.

When I unplug/replug the power, it was working fine for a day/half a day or so until it freezes again.

After testing with different power supply adapters and concluding it wasn't the issue I finally opened the case and this was the situation:

Anyway I proceed to clean up the mess and replace all caps but unfortunately it made the situation worse. Now router can't even boot, either it freezes during...
