    Sony TV KDL46V4100

I am trying to bring this TV (which got watered (don't ask)) back to life. I have taken the back off and dried out the set. When I plug the set in I can hear a sealed relay activate and relax about every 4 seconds. The green power light does come on with the pressing of the power button. I can see no other action back light, etc occurring. There is no audio. Please help.

It has got to be something in the power supply. Seems they are easy to find:

Try disconnecting the inverter board from the power supply and see if you get sound and the relay cycling stops. If so the inverter is bad:

I made a video on repairing switching power supplies that shows the inverter board too:

    Report back your success.

I disconnected the inverter board with the same results. I also disconnected all of the other boards with the same results. I am of the opinion that the power supply is bad. I can see no bad caps so am wondering what components would cause this problem.

I finally discovered where the water got to. I found one dried stream with calcium deposits on the main board (A1506072C). The water came across several pins on the large IC and some pins on a smaller IC at the bottom of the board. It's hard telling what else got shorted out. Net research indicated that there are several versions of this board. How can I determine which version this board is?
