    Need help identifying cap...

    I'm trying to identify a cap that has had the value/voltage information blown off. It is a CapXon, and the only information still readable is:
    KF105 C
    P742
    VENT

    If anyone knows the value/voltage for this cap, it would be greatly appreciated!

                  And therein lies the problem.

                  The value is printed on the other side, which has been pretty much obliterated.

                          Nope. The reference to "1975NW" in that post is only to say "I found this site very useful in repairing the inverter board in my Westinghouse 1975NW". It then goes on to discuss a completely different inverter board.

                                  I'll keep plugging away on the search feature, but I haven't had much luck yet. Just have to find that magic search term...

                                      Post a picture of where it is on the board using manage attachments and not inline. If you have a multimeter, you can test the positive hole (using continuity) to see what voltage rail it sits on. And maybe identify the caps in terms of voltage and capacitance around it so we can make an educated guess.

                                                  If you can still accurately measure the height and diameter those values may
                                                  only relate to one cap on the datasheet? or There are references on this site to Capxon KF which give the size and values of some caps.

                                                      Many manufacturers use the same power board. I found this on ebay.

                                                      If you look at the caps you have, maybe by process of elimination you can deduce the value of the blown cap.

                                                      Otherwise, you can seach this forum with the part number of the power board as the Delta brand is very common here.

                                                              I do believe we have a winner here! It looks to be either CE104 (1000uF/10V) or CE109 (220uF/25V), but I'm not near the board at the moment.

                                                                  It turns out I have a different board, the DAC-19M005. But now that I know which of all the numbers printed on the board is the actual part number, I was able to find the correct schematic and identify the cap as a 2200uF/10V.

                                                                  Now the hard part is done, all that's left is the really hard part - replacing the caps. I've worked on electronics before, but this is my first time at this kind of repair, so wish me luck.
