    The article says that overvoltage was detected on PSU rails.

    I'm not sure if any aluminum electrolytics are space qualified. If there are any, I'm sure the 3 'Cons, Panasonic, Sanyo, NIC, and the myriad Taiwanese/Chinese/Korean cap vendors aren't playing in that marketplace.

      i doubt any lytics can perform well in space.
      most likely mlcc and tantalum.
