sooooo I see that some motherboards these days still are using KGZ's for pci/usb filters and occasionally NB filter.
I'm guessing replacing these would void your warranty, and motherboards can die for ALL kinds of reasons.
Is it worth it? Maybe I should keep the KGZ's and incase the board dies for other reasons, put them back on. Maybe I should find some lead free solder to do it. would have to clean the flux off too. Hmm I wonder how closely they look at a board if it gets returned
