Re: FP cap
All that's telling us is that it's a 330uF 6.3 v capacitor.
To give you proper recommendations, we need to know:
- where you live (country is enough)
- the dimensions/footprint of the capacitor on the board (that width and height of the plastic pad from which the two metal pins come out on the sides to be soldered)
A snapshot of the board would also help

by capriderHey,
I'm looking for some recommendations of a decent quality soldering station and a separate hot air station. I'm just a hobbyist, so even if (ultra)premium tools are not required, I still want some good tools. They should be available in Europe.
I now have a TS100 and some soldering irons and looking for some better tools.
1. Soldering station, budget around 200-240€
JBC BT-2BWA seems to be a good product in the budget.
2. Hot air station, budget around 200€
Up to now I've found ATTEN ST-862D to be a good option.... -
by slybundahi all, looking to expand my toolset, i have a multimeter that can check capacitance of capacitors but doesnt check esr. so im after a cheapo meter that can do the job without costing an arm and a leg for someone who only dabbles with electronics now and then. whats good option to go for thats..... cheap??

by AJ847.63eHi All,
Just wanted to get some advice on what people are using for backing up/ cloning their windows installs and programs?
Two issues I'm looking to solve:
1: I'm looking at setting up a NAS for us in the office so I can clone and backup the two systems we have here. It would be nice if I could setup automatic backups that run weekly say Friday after 5pm so if windows decides to be windows and kill itself, we've got something to fall back on.
2: Cloning customer machines where needed. We're currently using AOMEI backuper but it is...-

by Almighty1Greetings everyone:
I have a Polycom formerly Obihai Obi202 VoIP Adapter which has the following 2 capacitors:
1 x ChengX 100uF 25V 0.25"Wx0.3125"H
1 x YST 10uF 50V 0.1875"Wx0.4375"H
What are suitable replacements that are long life and rated 105C or higher? Am I correct that the uF has to match but the voltage can be the same or higher? Are there any advantages and disadvantages if it's higher than the original voltage?
Thanks!-
