I have recapped about 40 or more boards with 100% success until now.
Recapped what I think is a gx270. I replaced every cap with rubycons of the same value but used poly caps along v-core (820 2.5). PC booted and ran 24hrs unattended with no issues, updated drivers and all was well. I bring the pc home to hook up and let run for a few days and now its doing weird stuff.
Start with a beep everytime I moved the mouse. I then hooked up usb mouse and all was well but now no keyboard. I reboot and keyboard now works but is typing sometimes wrong characters or typing twice with one hit. Changed the ram and still same problems.
Could this be the result of the poly v-core wrong(to many, not enough?) or a bad cap somewhere else? Not sure were to start?
After I recap evry board I do go over all the traces with a magnify glass to check for solder splatter or loose joints so I dont think that is it. Should I just scrap the board?
Thanks for any input.
