When did cap manufacturers first start using the electrolyte that has caused so many caps to fail prematurely?
Seems like a lot of equipment from 2000 (and later) has suffered from bad caps, so were the first bad caps produced in 2000? Would it be safe to say that any component manufactured in 1999 or earlier will not have any of these bad caps?
