Identify this Ceramic Capacitor

So my monitor broke and I took it apart and found two burnt locations with possibly faulty components. I think these components are ceramic capacitors, but I am not certain. Can you please help my identify them?

And they do not have any markings on them. I emailed Viewsonic for their schematic..but I doubt they'll give it to me.

Those look like input power filter capacitors. It appears that they are connected in a Y configuration, which means that it and the adjacent capacitor should be identical. You can then reference the other one for a replacement.

Note: This is only the case if both capacitors are attached in a series configuration between line and neutral (AC input). They will be attached like this:

Line --- Cap 1 --- Ground --- Cap 2 --- Neutral


If those ports are for CCFLs, then those are not input filters. If so, then you may not be able use the above method to identify the other cap (unless you can establish that both are identical).

Use 5kV caps of appropriate capacitance, 2.2nF or something.

They limit current to the cfl. Replace all there are.
